After the Strategic Direction was set, PEMANDU organized a Lab session to identify initiatives to improve the country’s road congestion, achieve zero fatality in federal roads, increase average annual lane km construction and attract 195 billion rubles of investment by 2020.

Improve effectiveness of core operation via resolution of 7 over-loading road networks (>10,000km) and reform road works for cost optimisation (44 bil rubles in savings)

Enhance road safety via elimination of 778 accident hotspots and infrastructure upgrades

Entry point regional projects

Entry point regional projects i.e. focused on new highways construction to catalyse economic growth in EPP areas (More than 1,000km roads to be created)

Maximise financial resources

Maximise financial resources via in raising alternative fundings beyond government’s allocation (195 bil rubles by 2020)
